<하기전코><3일째 치료하면서 옆 찍은거><5일째 오늘!>Hello! I'm the person who got rhinoplasty last Wednesday, March 29th!
My nose is short, small, and low-tip!
So I went here and there to make an appointment and waited for about a month and a half to get the surgery. ㅎㅎ
First of all, I've been thinking about it since my early 20s when my mom kept telling me to get my nose done (I'm 30 now)
and I finally made up my mind and did it!
The reason I chose this hospital is because I saw the blog of the director of the place before I made the appointment, and when I was receiving consultations, the director said,
"If you have ear cartilage, your nose will fall even lower and you'll have to get a second surgery, so he recommends autologous ribs. If you still want to get ear cartilage, he won't stop you, but he recommends autologous ribs." So I kind of believed them....(??) I kind of liked them. ㅋㅋ I think it's because I got the feeling that they took good care of my nose that I made the appointment! Most other places just said they would use ear cartilage...!
So I decided to have the surgery and finally had it done on Wednesday, March 29th, last week ㅎㅎ The introduction was long.
First, my surgery was scheduled for 9 o'clock and I arrived right at 9 o'clock!
When I went out, the director greeted me right away, took a picture of my nose, and talked about my nose one more time.
Before that, the surgery was to use my own costal cartilage to raise the tip of my nose and to proceed with a non-implanted nose bridge since my nose bridge was slightly wide.
However, on the day of the surgery, I told him that I wanted to put in silicone even if it was thin, so he granted my request and
we decided to do it like this: nose bridge - thinnest silicone + nose tip - autologous costal cartilage + the step in between - ear cartilage!
After the consultation, I went into surgery preparation. After writing the consent form, paying, changing clothes, etc. and finishing up,
I went straight to the surgery GOGO without any waiting time. ㅎㅎ
Oh, I have a lot of fat on my stomach... so I thought it would be difficult to remove the costal cartilage, so the director said we should put me under general anesthesia, but
my mom said she would absolutely not allow general anesthesia, so we went ahead with general anesthesia!
So I went into the surgery, was put under general anesthesia, and was having the costal cartilage harvested, but
I opened my eyes in the middle of it ㅎㅎㅎ I dazed out... It is recommended that people with a lot of fat go under general anesthesia... (If you're curious about what it was like, leave a comment and I'll tell you...)
Anyway, after the harvest, I had a short rest(?) and went straight into the nose surgery.
So I was put under general anesthesia again, and then I woke up in the middle of it and had general anesthesia again!
The surgery was a little??? difficult, but I was able to endure it.
The surgery took less than 4 hours in total!
So the director told me the surgery went well, so I went to the bed, laid down, came to my senses, listened to the explanation on what to do at home, and
went home. Hahaha, I had a ton of splints and taping on me. Anyway, I
went home, ate, and sat down to sleep. They stuffed cotton in my eye, so it was really hard, but
I think my ribs hurt more. Was my nose really bearable?? (It was harder when I got LASIK, for real.)
But the rib pain was okay as long as I was careful. I went for walks and walked a lot, and stuff.
But after a day of sleeping, my face and eyes were really swollen. ㅠㅠ So I couldn't see, so I tried to go to work, but I couldn't in the end, so I
just kept walking and gave my face a lot of massages + cold compresses with a face roller! Then the next day was fine lol
And on Friday 3/31, I had my nose cotton removed, the cast removed, and just taped it up. I diligently applied the ointment I got after having my nose cotton removed and
put cotton soaked in lots of Vaseline on my nose. They said that the wound inside shouldn't scab over... It would make a scar,
so I diligently put cotton soaked in Vaseline on it.
Anyway, I went to the hospital again on Saturday and got treatment, and yesterday, which was Sunday, I did the same thing: I got a facial massage + a lot of cold compresses + walked a lot lol
And today is finally the 5th day, so I took off the taping and washed my face!!!!!!!!!
For now, this is my review for the past 5 days lol
I'm not good at writing, so I wrote it without any order...
It's still swollen and it hasn't settled in yet, but I want to write a review of the process of it settling in quickly!
Thank you for reading my post .
