 Hello haha, I had the surgery in the winter of 2019 and am already in my 4th year of rhinoplasty :)
I received so much help from Sungyesa during the surgery that I came here out of curiosity after a long time!
I remember how precious each and every review was, so I am leaving a review as well.
Before surgery, I had received filler on the bridge of my nose once, although it was almost completely dissolved.
The bridge of my nose was slightly curved, and the tip of my nose was blunt. If you look at it from the side, it has a slightly curved beak, and what I was most dissatisfied with is that it hangs downwards. It wasn't a very ugly nose(?), but every time I took a picture, the asymmetry of my nose bothered me so much and I felt like it was breaking the harmony of my face, so I decided to get surgery.
At the time, I received help from Seongyesa, created a list, and worked hard to sell it.
I had surgery at the hospital I liked the most.
The criteria for choosing a hospital are as follows:
1) Is there only one doctor who performs nose surgery? (+) Confirmation of a plastic surgeon
- There were a lot of controversies in the news at the time, such as changing directors and shadow doctors, and since there may be side effects after surgery, it would be better to have a private hospital with one director to hold the doctor accountable for the results. I thought. In my experience, hospitals with more directors often have poor post-processing. And this goes without saying, but I recommend that you check if the doctor is a specialist and has extensive experience in rhinoplasty!
2) Is this a hospital that dissolves filler and performs surgery?
- Some of the hospitals I consulted with recommended a method of performing surgery without dissolving the filler on the bridge of the nose. However, based on common sense, I did not understand the idea of undergoing surgery when foreign substances might remain, so I chose a hospital that offered to dissolve the filler and perform surgery. .
3) Are the review photos natural? Is it possible without implants?
- This was the most important criterion from when I first drew up the list to when I chose the hospital where I would perform the surgery. I thought about focusing more on ‘naturalness’ rather than clear and distinct improvement. (This part seems to be important in whether the beauty you pursue matches the director's standard of beauty, so if it doesn't suit you, you can ignore it.) The director avoids uniform surgical methods and focuses on each person's individuality and beauty. I think this was a good fit for me because they pursued a natural surgical method that saves lives.
- And since I had a bit of an aversion to implants, I wanted to naturally improve the tip of my nose as much as possible without implants! I chose a hospital that could perform surgery using this method.
4) Are there any recommendations for other procedures/surgeries, pressure for reservation fees, etc.
- Among the counseling directors, there are cases where they recommend other procedures/surgeries when you do not want them or force you to pay for them, but I chose a hospital that does not do this.
I used autologous cartilage (ear cartilage) and only the tip of the nose was implant-free. He said that when viewed from the front, the curved part of the nose bridge would be very slightly trimmed and the columella would be slightly removed because there is a lot of it, and nasolabial angle surgery (cat surgery) to slightly increase the nasolabial angle was also performed.
I don't remember much about the time of the surgery, so now, 4 years later, I will mainly tell you my review.
- First of all, satisfaction is 1000%. No one who saw it for the first time would know that I had surgery, and only the areas I was dissatisfied with were corrected very naturally. (Crooked nose bridge, asymmetry, blunt nose tip, hooked nose, etc.) I'm really forgetting about the surgery!!
- However, for the first 6 months after the surgery, it felt like the tip of my nose was slightly high, but as time went by, it came down little by little, and now it is exactly the height I wanted
- And the reason why my satisfaction level is higher is because it blends well with my face. I think that. If I had used implants or had a higher line, it would have looked unnatural, but now it blends in harmoniously with my face, so it looks natural and I like it.
- The tip of the nose is soft and can move freely, and the pig nose is all possible. I think this is because I had surgery on my ear cartilage. My friends who had a nasal septum said that the stiffness still remains.
- Even if I go back, I think I will definitely have surgery. I was worried that I was overdoing things at such a young age, but now I live my life thinking that I am fortunate to have become pretty at least a day early.
