And unlike other hospitals I went to for consultation, I really liked that they did not recommend osteotomy and put safety first. No silicone was used, but both ear cartilage and nasal septum were used! The hawk did not shave her nose, only her side. From the day the surgery was over, there was really no swelling, so I was very excited!!! Even after the splint was removed, it didnt swell very much, but its so strange that my nose continues to get thinner after that..
