<모양불만족과 알로덤 틀어짐으로 병원에 문제 제기, 답변 글입니다.>*This article was written for the public interest, not for the purpose of slander, so I consulted with a lawyer and wrote it.
It is an extremely subjective opinion and I am writing it for those who are planning to get plastic surgery in the future.
The photos were provided by the hospital and were not modified separately.
The hospital information is not disclosed. I will not tell you even if you ask.
The photos were taken in 4G.
Purpose of surgery
1. My nose bridge is wide and my nostrils are large, and I want to reduce the overall size. Purpose of natural look
2. I want to correct my slightly crooked nose tip and rhinitis due to my deviated septum
3. I want to trim the slight hump on my nose bridge and I asked them not to put any implants on it separately.
4. I showed them a photo of my nose that was modified with Photoshop and asked them to do this.
5. I wanted ear cartilage, but they said that my past history and my nasal septum were weak, so they recommended costal cartilage and
told me to open my nose to find out. I asked them to give me ear cartilage before I lay down on the operating table.
After surgery
1. I am not satisfied with the shape based on my subjective opinion. I didn't know what a rectus abdominis was and I didn't tell them, but my nose tip is excessive and upturned,
which seems to accentuate the shortcomings of my face shape. The shape
of my columella is different from the grape shop photo I showed you, which I wanted. 2. The firmness of the costal cartilage... I think it's more accurate to express it as hardness. It's uncomfortable.
3. They said I could do weight lifting 4 weeks after the costal cartilage was harvested... but I couldn't do anything for 2 months. (I have to use my body due to the nature of my job.)
4. Alloderm on the bridge of my nose... I found out about Alloderm after the surgery.
I didn't even know what Alloderm was... I hate silicone, so do you think I wanted to have artificial dermis that was chemically treated
from another doctor's corpse? 5. I expressed my dissatisfaction with my shape to the director, and he said he would do a second surgery for free, but he said another hospital could do it with ear cartilage, so I'm going to decline the second surgery at the same place.
In the end, I want to go back to my original nose, so I'm looking into removal.
I think you had surgery because your face is long in the middle, but as a result, it is far from the image I had in mind, and I
am dissatisfied with it, so I am having it removed. I no longer have the desire to be pretty, and I will just live as I am... I sincerely hope that I can go back to my original appearance.
The purpose of this post is
1. Please carefully check the consultation diary and the pre-surgery consent form.
I am nervous and disoriented because I am going into surgery, and I feel like I shouldn't read such negative comments..
In the end, you will have to bear all the side effects of the surgery yourself.
I hope you think carefully before making a decision.
I recommend that you take separate pictures with the hospital's consent. (When I raised an objection due to subjective dissatisfaction with my appearance after surgery, I looked at it carefully again and was shocked.) Please
also check the consultation diary before the surgery. I did not check it.
2. Check if the aesthetic standards match those of the hospital director where you will have the surgery.
No matter how much you pursue naturalness, if you go to a fancy place and have it done naturally... it will not be easy for the results to come out the way you want. This is my personal experience. Check the hospital homepage and before and after photos (no selfies) before making a decision.
3. Decide on the exact implant for your nose surgery and have the surgery
. It's not like you have to open your nose to know... Those who are having a second surgery may do that, but I
hope you accurately identify the implant for your first surgery, clearly understand what will be put in your nose and how it will affect it, and go in agreement with the director.
4. I hope you visit at least 6-10 hospitals before making a decision. (I visited 3 hospitals)
They give discounts if you make a reservation on the same day... Please think carefully about that hospital.
The choice of surgery to have is yours, so the side effects and problems you have to deal with separately may also be yours.
Don't make a hasty decision simply because of a price discount and regret it later. Rather, I hope you compare and analyze the technique, shape, and follow-up care that you want through sufficient consultations
.
5. You should consider the permanent loss caused by nose surgery.
For example, nose osteotomy, mesenteric cartilage incision, and shape recovery due to wing deformation...
I visited many other hospitals to find out about reoperation... but
I burst into tears when I heard that permanent loss can never be restored. I wrote this
in the hope that college freshmen, students, and office workers who
made a surgery reservation at the hospital with a full heart to celebrate the new year and are looking forward to looking pretty
will get good results. I am not unconditionally saying that surgery is bad.
However, I wrote this long article in the hope that you will realize that nose surgery is a really... difficult surgery and meet a good director
to get the results you want.
