<수술전><수술전><수술후><수술후>Two months have already passed since I last wrote that I was going for surgery.
I had a curved beak shaved, arrow nose correction, and nostril reduction surgery. For 2-3 days after the surgery, I was swollen more than I expected, so I thought I was an avatar... ㅠㅜ But I followed the advice here and went for a walk, and I was glad that the swelling went down well afterward. A walk is the answer!
I was originally a person who never imagined having plastic surgery. I didn't even think about the common double eyelid surgery, but one day I was looking at a picture of myself and my arrow nose was so bad that I really didn't like it. So, I couldn't take pictures of my side profile, and I was stressed out. Then, I thought it wouldn't be noticeable since I was wearing a mask due to the coronavirus, so I made up my mind to get a nose surgery. I decided.
But, as his nickname suggests, he is a worried person, so I searched for hospitals through acquaintances and searches, and worked hard for a month. Everyone says they get a feeling during consultations, but actually, I don't know that feeling, and I found a hospital that can reflect my opinion well. I'm a person who worries a lot, so I tried to do it naturally by using only ear cartilage and nasal septum without using silicone, but some hospitals said absolutely no, and some hospitals said you had to use silicone unconditionally, so I recommend that you compare hospitals.
Since I wanted to do minimal surgery, the hospital that seemed to be most likely to reflect my opinion was Gangnam Station O**, so I went here for a second consultation, and Dr. Kim** was kind and reflected my opinion a lot. In particular, the director did not recommend anything excessive, and in particular, he took pictures of real celebrities before the surgery, printed them out, and posted them in the operating room. I was embarrassed, but thankful. Haha, I didn't know the nurses in the operating room were that friendly, but they treated me like a kindergartener so I wasn't nervous. I searched and looked up all the surgery reviews and thought that shaving the nose hairs was also done (I was shocked at first).
After the surgery, I met the doctor and took the subway home. What was especially good was that the bleeding was stopped well and there was no nosebleed, and I went to the hospital with the gauze still intact until the next day. If I had to give you a tip, I think it would be a good idea to tell the doctor again what shape you want during your pre-surgery consultation. Since there were so many patients, I think the appeal at that time will be the most memorable.
I didn't want flashy lines, but I like them because they look natural. Now, I can take pictures without much pressure, and my complex has been resolved, so I am very satisfied. Actually, I heard that the tip of my nose goes down a little, but I like the line before it goes down, so I'm a bit greedy about raising the tip of my nose a little more (I haven't even thought about plastic surgery) haha.
I hope my review can be a reference.
By the way, I think the bird-beak type mask is better after nose surgery.
