I am posting this to leave a review of the rhinoplasty surgery I received.
As I wrote in the title, I had surgery to reduce the size of my nose and improve nasal contour.
Both were done through incisions at Unimedi Plastic Surgery.
I have had a complex about my nose since I was a teenager
because my nostrils were very large.
Even when he was still, his nostrils were very wide, as if he was intentionally putting pressure on them and
flaring them. So I was reluctant to take pictures (that's why I'm still counting them), and when I happened to take selfies, I paid a lot of attention to reducing the size of my nose.
I thought I should do it as soon as I become an adult. There were a lot of things going on, so I ended up doing it a little late haha.
Since the coronavirus broke out and I am wearing a mask, I thought this would be a good opportunity, so I began researching hospitals in earnest, setting a budget, and making a plan.
There was no one around me who had had nose reduction, so I looked into it online. I got the information.
I selected a few hospitals that are famous for nose reduction, and I went to Unimedi first.
Personally, I got a lot of information about nose reduction by looking at the hospital's website, and I also saw many reviews saying that they were satisfied because they didn't do anything excessive.
Consult with the director. I will have a consultation with the director. It was
my first time receiving a nose consultation, and both of them explained in great detail.
Starting with the structure of the nose, what angle each part should be at to look aesthetically pleasing, and what angles each part should have in order to look aesthetically pleasing, they looked at my nose and decided on the parts. I was even given a detailed explanation of what kind of surgery was needed.
Not all surgeries are performed at once, but procedures are recommended in order from 1 to 4, which surgery should be performed first to achieve the ideal nose shape. Among them, I decided to go with eye 1, alar reduction, as well as improvement of sagging nose wings. I didn't know, but my nose was sagging a lot compared to the tip of my nose. So, not only were the nostrils big, but even the nose hairs inside were visible...
I was satisfied with the consultation to the extent that all the questions I had were answered, and the director pursued a natural look and did not force the surgery to be unreasonable, so I decided to have it done here. On the day of the
surgery, local anesthesia was administered, but only when the first anesthetic injection was administered. It hurt, but it didn't hurt much after that.
I went back a week later to have the stitches removed. Recovery began in earnest after the stitches were removed.
It's been a little over a month since I had the surgery. I'm uploading before and after surgery photos
. The 1st and 2nd photos are before and the 3rd to 6th photos are after the surgery. The last photo is a before and after comparison.
I didn't realize it because I was used to the size of my nostrils, but when I took out the old photos again to write a review, wow... The difference is big.
If you look closely, you can see that the area of the nostrils has been reduced and at the same time, the wings of the nose have come down, so the inside of the nostrils can be seen.
Hmm... How much have your nostrils shrunk? If you ask me, when I clean my nose, I used to just put my index finger in, but now it's easy to put my little finger in too haha. It has shrunk a lot. It would have been
more dramatic if I had done it all the way to the tip of my nose because it is so spread out, but I don't want to put in implants or cartilage , so I'm going to limit it to this level.
I am very satisfied with the difference I can see, even though it was a non-invasive surgery. I've also heard people say that I've lost weight or that my nose has gotten taller. It's a pity that I should have received a consultation earlier.
I made an incision, but I applied ointment well and took good care of it, and the scars are not that big
. Plastic surgery itself is a big decision, so I can't recommend it to just anyone, but if you're someone like me who has a complex about large nostrils, I don't think you will regret it
