It's been 7 years and the silicone went in short and the sagging nose got worse, so I had it replaced this time
(I don't recommend the first hospital ㅠ The teacher himself is cool and nice, but he seems to do the surgery very simply;;)
Actually, I knew it was annoying, but I kept living like this, but the reason I decided to have the surgery was because of my nasal congestion. I
already had rhinitis, but recently, it's gotten harder to breathe, and my nasal mucosa has been torn and bleeding a lot..
I do have rhinitis, but it wasn't that bad
. Also, I don't know if it was an illusion, but it felt like something was sticking out of one nostril, and it was blocking my breathing..
At the time, I had the nasal septum supported, but when I consulted for the second surgery, most of the hospitals responded that they didn't have a septum and they didn't know where it was used.. I think my crooked nose was bad, so they said they used it to correct that.
Haha Anyway, so I had the silicone replaced..
When I had the first surgery, I only thought about the height, but when I had the second surgery, I learned that trimming the silicone line was really important. They made
the ends of the commercially available silicone thin. I just found out that I should have trimmed it and also trimmed the silicone on both sides to fit the bridge of my nose.
I always said during my follow-up surgery consultations that it was obvious that I had silicone in it, but everyone responded that it was inevitable when you put in silicone and that you have to endure it.
But the current director said that it was likely because only he didn't trim the silicone properly, and that since one side of my face is asymmetrical, if he trimmed it to fit that side, it would improve a bit..!
Anyway, I originally wanted to make my nose prettier by inserting ear cartilage into it to support it, but my nostrils are already small and I have nasal congestion, and they said that if I did that, the inner valve would become narrower and it would be much harder for me to breathe than it is now.
Also, if I did that, the side line would look as pretty as I wanted, but from the front, the sides of my nose would look slightly sunken in.
I actually didn't like that look (I already have a round and natural impression), so I decided to just replace
the nose bridge. I made the bridge of my nose the same height as before and just raised the bridge of my nose a little bit higher than before.
I was really sad because I wanted to make it prettier since I was already doing it. ㅠ My nose was already a bit round, so I realized during my first surgery that this was the limit. ㅠ
Anyway, I just had the nose replaced with the non-open surgery, and after it was over, they showed me the previous nose, and there really wasn't any manipulation on the nose bridge.
I think that's why I felt like the nose bridge was showing through (I had 3.5 at the time).
Anyway, compared to the previous surgery, Another splint was stuck on the bridge of my nose ㅋㅋ Honestly, I went there mentally prepared because my previous rhinoplasty was so difficult, but I felt a bit empty.
My sister said that even though there's a splint, her nose bridge looks higher and better than before
. But what's strange and curious is...
I only had the silicone replaced, but my nose is completely free of stuffy symptoms.
I thought it would be swollen and hard to breathe, but I can breathe better than usual ㅜㅜㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Does this happen just with the silicone replaced??
I'm curious if there's anyone who has experienced this.
And if I just replaced the silicone without manipulating the tip of my nose like I did, would my aesthetic satisfaction be better than before?

On the 2nd day, the swelling was more reassuring than I thought (thinking back to my first time ㅠ)
They told me to come to the hospital on the 2nd day too ㅋㅋ So I went and they disinfected it again, changed the cast, applied ointment, and gave me an antibiotic shot! ㅋㅋ
I like the aftercare so far.. They decided to take the cast off on the 4th-6th day

It’s the 7th day now.
There’s a yellow bruise and a lot of swelling, but since they didn’t
do the tip of my nose, the swelling is almost gone compared to the first surgery. The shape isn’t much different from before because they only replaced the silicone, but I’m satisfied because all the little details that I was concerned about seem to have improved (the part where the silicone shows through from the middle of my forehead to the bridge of my nose + the bridge of my nose is sunken)
