hello! I received a lot of information from Seongyesa and completed the surgery safely, so I am posting my surgery review because I want to be of help!
Rather than having a completely different image through rhinoplasty, I only wanted to straighten the tip of my nose and reduce my nose, so I had surgery on only the tip of my nose without an implant.
Supporting
the columella only with the nasal septum, I straightened the tip of the nose, repositioned the cartilage, and polished the slightly protruding
beak. It was still the 9th day, so there was a lot of bruising and swelling around the beak. I don't think it's like this for other people, but I'm the type of person who bruises and swells easily. I can't help it.
The tip of my nose is still swollen from swelling, so I can't bear to upload a picture of the front.
But the tip of my nose, which used to be blunt at the front, has definitely become thinner. I'm
glad that the tip of my nose, which was saggy, seems to have gone up naturally. The
only thing left to do is fight against the swelling.
I didn't know much, but after consulting, I found out that my columella was very curved.
It was a bit stressful that the left and right sides felt different, but I learned during the consultation that the main reason was that the columella was bent, and the shape of the cartilage on both sides was different, so the shape of the nose was different on the left and right. I decided to have surgery because improving this area was the most important!
On the same day of the surgery, we discuss the surgical method again with the director in the consultation room and enter the operating room.
After sedation, we are under local anesthesia and the surgery is performed while awake, but it is not as scary as I thought. In fact, I feel calm when I hear the director's voice
. I think it's good to be able to see it! Even if it's just swollen, I don't feel anxious because it looks like it
did back then. Even when I'm in the recovery room after the
surgery, the director keeps going back and forth to look at me. After the surgery, I visit on the 1st, 2nd, and 7th days, and the director personally looks at my nose, removes cotton, treats it, and gives me antibiotics. You will also receive a swelling injection.
I hope this will be of some help to those who are preparing for surgery with many concerns!
