<수술전><수술당일><수술후 1달차!!!!>A hooked nose, which had been a problem of mine for a long time... I had surgery!!
I heard a lot of people saying that nose surgery is dangerous, and in fact, I saw my friend having a nose surgery and suffering from a second surgery, so
I was very worried. Then, I found a few hospitals with good noses similar to mine, did some digging, and even had the surgery.
Today is the first month, so I thought I'd write a review because the swelling was less severe than I expected and the lines were so pretty!
As you can see from the photo, I have a very hooked beak and a big nose..
My younger brother even said that I looked like a stone statue from the side... My hooked beak was so blunt and long that I had to edit it a lot every time I uploaded a picture, and I
never even dreamed of taking a profile selfie. ..
I had surgery at a hospital in Apgujeong. The atmosphere of the consultation was very good and I was satisfied!
I made a reservation at the hospital over the phone and went for a consultation over the weekend. Because it was the weekend, there were definitely a lot of people.
The inside of the hospital was also very clean and had a cozy atmosphere.
After writing a handwritten report of your first visit, they guided you through a CT scan
a while later. *Here's a tip: If you go to a hospital that provides CT scans when you go for a nose consultation, it would be a good idea to remove things like piercings in advance.
I didn't know they took CT scans. I tried to remove the piercing while I was there, but it didn't come out easily and I was completely out of my mind lol.
Then, after waiting for a while, the manager guided me and we had a consultation. He listened to my general concerns first,
told me what kind of surgery I needed for my nose, showed me the photos he had taken, and discussed things like I wanted to do it this way.
I had a pre-designated director, so after the consultation with the director, I waited a bit and consulted with the director again!
This was the hospital where I liked the consultation with the director the most! They showed me a CT picture, and even looking at the bone picture,
I was once again surprised by my severely hooked beak. The director explained that during rhinoplasty, the hooked beak would be sharpened, the nasal septum would be used, and an osteotomy would be a good idea. I told him that I had some aversion to implants, especially costal cartilage, and he reflected my opinion.
I showed the photo and said that I didn't want a nose that was too flashy or
pointed. I was someone who was stressed about my profile, so I also said that I wanted a more dramatic effect from the side rather than from the front.
As I was asking various questions and listening to the explanation of the surgery, almost 20 minutes had passed.
It was really nice that the surgery method was explained so kindly.
I had one more consultation with the director about the cost and surgery schedule. At that time, I also had consultation reservations at other hospitals, so he said that if I
didn't schedule the surgery and put in the reservation deposit, they would pay the price given to me and give me a refund if I changed my mind. Anyway, I also
had consultations at two other hospitals and this is it. I was satisfied with the in-depth consultation with the director who explained the surgery very well and even took a CT scan, so
I called again and set up a surgery date!
Here’s the surgery review!
They told me to fast on the day of surgery, so I ate chicken the day before. Haha.
I had surgery on the first day, so I went to the hospital in the morning. First, check the details of the surgery again with the director.
I filled out the consent form and went down to the surgery floor! I had another consultation with the director, received a design, waited, and
was then guided to the operating room! When I entered the operating room, I was so, so, so nervous haha.
My hands were shaking all the time haha. The nurse was checking my heart rate,
but even the beeping sound felt scary. Anyway, I reassured him that it would be over when I woke up!
After the surgery, I woke up in the recovery room and my nose was very heavy. The bandages were all wrapped up so it was very difficult to breathe. It was painful, but it
was bearable!
The next day, I went to the hospital, got a dressing, a laser treatment for swelling, and had cotton removed from inside my nose. How comfortable it is because there is no cotton inside the nose...ㅜㅠ!!
The hospital gave me pumpkin juice and an ice pack, so I used that to compress myself for two weeks! It was less painful
than I had worried about removing the stitches
!
One month review
Now, I am waiting for all the major swelling to go down and only the minor swelling to go away! I heard that Elas A helps reduce swelling, so
I took it often for a week after the surgery! It's very expensive... Maybe that's why the doctor did a good job on the surgery, but
my friends are telling me that it hasn't swollen in a month haha.
Even when I check it in the mirror, the scar on my nose doesn't bother me that much.
And I asked the doctor before the surgery. Side viewㅜㅠㅠ
I'm so touched, reallyㅡㅜㅠㅠㅠ I can't believe my nose has become smootherㅛ...
I'm happy that the hooked beak that has been bothering me for so long is gone!!
For those of you who have trouble with hooked teeth like me, I hope this article helps~
I hope you all do your best and are satisfied with the results of the surgery><
If the response is good, I definitely want to bring you a review of the second month.>
