Actually, this is not a hot review.. I had the surgery in 2016. Since I recently visited the Seongyesa website, I will write this while recalling old memories.
This is my second time. If you include the removal of the nose implant, I had the knife three times. I did not intend it or want it, but I had no choice because the first surgery was a failure.
Oh, this is not the first time I had the surgery. I had it done at HanXX Plastic Surgery in Myeongdong in 2001.. The consultation was also terrible, and I remember the doctor himself being hesitant about the surgery, but as expected.. After about 5 years, the implant moved and my nose became stenotic, so my nose became crooked to one side.
So in 2007, I had the implant removed at a plastic surgery clinic in Uijeongbu for 400,000 won, and I was living without thinking about having another surgery.. But the tip of my nose was still crooked, and the area right above my eyebrows protruded roundly, and they didn't know the cause.
So this time, I decided to find something that was done properly, and when I searched around, I thought that even if it was a little more expensive, it would be better to go to a place with a proper anesthesia department, and I chose this place after debating between Gangnam and Apgujeong.
The doctor said that my nose... well... my skin is too thin and it's hard to get the proportions right from the forehead line, so raising it is almost impossible. He said that he would do his best, but it might not be satisfactory... He said raising it itself would be difficult, so I was more interested in fixing my deformed nose than making it pretty, so I said okay
. Then, under general anesthesia, they used ear cartilage to fix the crooked nose tip and fixed it, and they inserted silicone to trim the bridge of my nose a little. In fact, when it was still a little swollen after the surgery, my nose looked a little higher and I liked it more ^^;;
After it all went down, it looked like it was raised, but it felt a little sharp and clean. I liked my nose tip because it was round and cute when it wasn't plastic surgery, but I decided to live with it now since it changed after the surgery anyway.
But... one thing to note is... I don't know if you missed this part since you're a plastic surgery specialist or if you didn't do it on purpose, but I was born with a narrow breathing area, and it could have been worse as a side effect of the first plastic surgery
. I also had a deviated nasal septum. I found out about this when I went to an ENT clinic recently, and after the second surgery, the already narrow area got even narrower, and when I sleep, I can't breathe at all through one nostril... It's gotten difficult. So I'm considering getting the knife again for the 4th time. This time, it's not plastic surgery, it's to correct the shape of the inside of my nose.
I'm sick of it. Really... ㅠ
In the end, they did a great job with the surgery, and aside from the fact that they don't provide meals, I like the clean way the hospital handles things, but... I wish they had given me more in-depth consultation... so that the disruption to my daily life would have been less.
