I had my first surgery at a large hospital.. I really
didn't know anything at the time and went there because of its fame + the staff's talk + the facilities.
It was a place that was often on TV,
so I asked them to make it natural, but
my nose ended up being high and didn't suit me at all
. Even now, if you look at their advertisements, they're all the same style ㅋㅋㅋ
The problem was that I had side effects and ended up having a second surgery~~
At first, I went to about 3-4 places, but
I think I've been to at least 15 places for
second surgeries . Of those, the place that I felt the most trustworthy
was 101, Jㅇㅅ(name). When my nose was swollen from silicone inflammation in other places,
some places told me to get silicone again right away
, but most of them said to take it out and wait and get silicone and it would be okay.
When I persistently asked if the inflammation would happen again if I did that , they only gave vague answers like it's possible, but there are more people who are fine
. Then again, if I'm unlucky,
I think it's a prerequisite that I could get inflammation... Ugh,
I don't want to gamble with my face, so I chose a hospital that recommended autologous dermis, which has no chance of recurrence of inflammation.
Even though I told the two hospitals that I wanted a clear nose like silicone, they clearly told me to be careful about my decision because if I didn't get the surgery at their hospital, inflammation could occur again if I used silicone again. I also
went to a few autologous dermis specialty hospitals, but they didn't seem convincing enough about why I should get autologous dermis, and they didn't really say that I could get it as pretty and lifted as much as silicone
. In conclusion, both were fine. I liked the fact that the consultation was thorough and they talked from my perspective, and I liked that they specialize in reconstruction and pursue naturalness. However, 101 was too expensive... ㅠㅠ I did it at Jㅇㅅ. Jㅇㅅ really caught what was stressing me out during the consultation and tried to find the good points in my face. I liked that they paid a lot of attention to proportional factors like a somewhat harmonious face?? And they were really worried. They advised me on what to do in the future even if I didn't have it done at that hospital. The cost of the surgery is not cheap, but it's the same for everyone. It's even on the website.
It's been about 2 months now and
I'm very satisfied. Sometimes they do excessive overcorrection called autologous dermis, but I don't think it's a good method. They raised it appropriately and
it looks so natural now and it's great. My nose is so comfortable. The line is pretty too. ㅠㅠ If you compare it to the previous picture, it's scary...
The reason I'm writing this is not to say that all these hospitals are good, but to tell you to please look around for rhinoplasty!! ㅠ. As you go around, you can see which hospital will perform the surgery responsibly. And in my personal opinion, I recommend that you avoid large hospitals as much as possible. They are hospitals that operate like factories with 5-6 cases a day. Don't be fooled by the service and eloquence of the consulting room staff. The people who got pretty surgery on the pamphlets aren't talking about that hospital. What's important is sufficient information about that hospital and a conversation with the doctor. It is too hasty to make a decision on surgery after consulting for a few minutes. Ask and ask again. Choose a specialist who does not show that he is annoyed and conscientiously suggests the direction of the surgery. Also, I hope you choose a hospital that does not perform excessive surgeries in one day. I hope those who are worried about reoperation will be liberated soon! You will overcome with good results as much as you suffered.
Those who are having surgery for the first time, please keep this in mind!!
