I had nose surgery a year ago, and it was done in an open manner using Gore-Tex and nasal septum. There were no problems at all at the time of surgery, and in fact, I was doing well without any problems until two weeks ago.
However, two weeks ago, the exact center of the tip of my nose became red, and a week ago, the tip of my nose became soft like a blister (it looked like a large pimple) and the redness did not go away. I went to the hospital and they said it was an inflammatory reaction, so I was given an antibiotic injection and taking medicine.
Searching on the internet, I was told that inflammation should be accompanied by redness, swelling, odor, pain, etc., but I felt no pain at all when I touched it. There is no smell or anything like that.
Now it looks like the inflamed area is a little smaller than last week, but the pus (suppuration) has gathered in the middle and is ugly.
Has anyone received treatment for an inflammatory reaction other than acute inflammation that occurred several months or more than a year after surgery? Or is it right to remove the implant? I don't want to have my implants removed because it doesn't hurt and it just looks the same, but I'm sharing this with people who have similar symptoms as me! For reference, the picture is not mine, it was found on the internet, but the symptoms are the same as mine!
