A record of my own nose surgery
, the surgical process, pain level, and bruising/swelling. For those who are curious about the surgery process, pain level, and swelling.
■My nose: Low, slightly aquiline, flat sideways.
■Focus: Natural beauty, safety, no implants.
I made a reservation for the surgery and waited and waited, and finally got my nose surgery today.
The bridge of my nose was not completely flat, but it looked flat from the side and
had a very slightly aquiline beak, so it didn't look pretty when I took a picture from the side
. I'm always busy uploading pictures of my nose on an app. ㅋㅋㅋ
Others say they've been worried about their noses for 1 year, 5 years, or even 10 years......
I usually only think, 'I don't like my nose?', but I
suddenly got it and I searched for reviews like crazy and on the same day of the consultation, kkkk!! Please do it~! Slightly? I did it impulsively. I set the surgery date right after the first consultation
. But I didn't do it without thinking.
It was my first nose, and there are so many side effects from nose surgery and such, and
when you look at Instagram or other pictures, there are so many noses that look like plastic surgery even if they look natural, they're gorgeous!! I'm a bit reluctant to sleep, but I'm a very conservative and extremely safe person, so I searched and searched for the most natural place, and narrowed it down to Suwon ㄴㄴㅅ, Gangnam ㄷㄹ, ㅋㅇㅍㄹㅅ.
At first, the place I wanted to do the most was Suwon ㄴㄴㅅ.
Suwon ㄴㄴㅅ is a place that really cares about safety, and it's really conservative, and it's a place where you can't really tell if it's safe. There were a lot of good reviews, but the more I looked, the more the aesthetics were a bit old-fashioned..? To my eyes, it felt a bit old-fashioned, so I gradually leaned toward the other side.
And the director's overly confident attitude made me a bit reluctant as I kept watching... No matter how good your skills are, there can be side effects like this? This kind of phenomenon. I think it's more conscientious to say, "No matter how good your skills are, there can be side effects like this?", but I thought that my overly confident "I'm the best at my skills!!" attitude could actually be a bit risky. As a result, there were a lot of reviews saying that the director's opinions were too strong and patients' opinions were not reflected. I think it would be perfect for those who just put aside their opinions and want the best safety.
After that, I
also made a consultation at ㄷㄹ ㅋㅇㅍㄹㅅ, but it was only possible at the end of the month...
I went there first, and the direction that the director pursued was similar to my mindset. Pursuing safety and naturalness.
But at first, I was a bit reluctant because they use septum + ear cartilage (Suwon ㄴㄴㅅ said they definitely use only ear cartilage... I also felt a little uncomfortable about the septum). After listening to the director's explanation, she said that my nasal wing cartilage was small and weak, and she thought that I would be more stable if I used the septum, so I said I understood and even made a surgery date. (+ There were many cases like mine. I decided that it was important to go to a hospital that gets a lot of noses similar to mine.)
+ Oh, and I went with the intention of only getting a nose job, but I was recommended lower eyelid fat repositioning, so I registered for both. This may seem impulsive, but...ㅎㅎ When I was a high school student, my nickname was Panda, and I liked to go around with a bare face and light makeup, but I hated it because my under-eye area was always dark and I looked like I worked overtime for 3 daysㅠ A brightening concealer is absolutely essential...... After hearing that the fat bulged out and the shadows would be more noticeable, I thought about it for a moment and ended up getting it done.
.
.
And today is the day I got my nose job!!
The day before, I couldn't sleep because I was half excited and half worried, and even on the morning of my trip to the hospital, I kept thinking, 'Is this the right thing? Was this a hasty decision? Will things change if I get my nose job? I'm going to suffer so much...' So I went in
to prepare and get a consultation, and during the consultation, I ended up getting a full face double eyelid transplant + aegyo salㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
I'll write a separate review about this later
. After that, I went straight into the operating room and I wasn't nervous at all, but I was just a little nervous. Then they injected a needle into my arm and when I woke up, it was done.
They said the surgery took 3 hours because there was so much to doㅋㅋㅋㅋ
30 minutes was like magic.... General anesthesia is always new and new...
and the pain?
I think the worst after-effects are waking up from anesthesia, having stuffy noses, and bloody noses? The pain was the worst,
but what is this????? Why doesn't it hurt......
Seriously, it didn't hurt at all, so
I was really scared of ear pain because of the reviews that said their ears hurt more, but
they don't hurt at all. They're just like my original ears. My nose is also blocked and my throat is dry, but everything else is fine......
Nose pain 1 out of 5,
ear pain 0... Huh?
After 3 hours of getting home, the anesthesia slowly wore off, but my nose is still a little sore.
Nose pain 2
, ear pain 0.
I absolutely shouldn't do that, but I'm going to have nose surgery 3 times...? I had these crazy thoughts. I didn't use up much vacation time, so I was worried about going to work, but if I wear a mask, it covers 95% of the pain and it's possible.
I bought a mask with a humidifying filter from Coupang in advance, and it definitely worked. My mouth is less dry.
I can't really tell because there's a cast and gauze.
To be honest, when I look at it like this, it feels like the height is just a little higher, so I thought, 'Huh? It's the day of surgery, is it really this high???ㅠㅠ When the swelling goes down and the tip of my nose falls, there's no difference, and it's just the same as having a beak, right???' That's what I thought firstㅠㅠ
But the director told me in advance that my skin is very thin and my nose wings are small, so if they were raised too much, the cartilage would show or my nose would look upturned. So I thought it would go up to a natural level, but I feel like it's not high enough, so I'm a little worried ㅠ.ㅠ
Since I'm going to pay a lot of money for the surgery, I can't help but think that I want it to be higher? I want to be prettier? I can't help but lower my expectations with the mindset that greed always leads to destruction ㅎㅎ
It's good because it didn't hurt and I think I got the surgery cleanly, but I hope and wish that it will come out well with the natural, round look that I want!!!!!! It's so awesome!!!
(+I really like the fact that I got fat grafting by chance.)
I'll keep uploading reviews!!
