I had rhinitis surgery 4 years ago, but this was my first time getting a nose job for cosmetic purposes,
so I was worried. My older sister had 8 nose jobs, and I watched her go through all of them, so I couldn't help but worry.
Even after deciding on the surgery, should I just cancel it now? Should I throw away the deposit? I thought about this dozens of times a day, and
the reason I was even more conflicted was that while other hospitals recommend septal or rib donation,
only the hospital I was going to get the surgery at recommended autologous rib. That's why I was even more worried.
My mind was pounding, so I compared reviews of other materials and autologous rib, and
while searching, I found many reviews of people who had surgery with other materials and had their nose tip sag, so they got a second surgery with autologous rib.
I absolutely did not want to have a second surgery, so
I decided to get a non-implant one and just use autologous rib to hold the tip of my nose in place.
I was so anxious up until the day of the surgery that I searched for hospital information, reviews, and even YouTube.
But while there seemed to be a lot of information about autologous rib, there wasn't as much as I thought..?
I'm not curious about pretty reviews, but I need an explanation of what kind of patient's case it is and why that material should be used,
but they just added a little bit of autologous rib content to the review videos and made the titles grand.
I think there will be many hospitals that will be offended by this.
Do they not consider the patient's position at all..?? Think about it on the contrary...
I was looking for a hospital anyway, so I wondered if it was meaningful to look for information on other hospitals, so
I watched a video of the hospital where I had surgery, and it covered a lot of autologous rib content.
I was able to watch the video for things I couldn't ask the director or the manager, and
I felt a little better as I waited while watching one or two questions I was curious about.
It's rare for a hospital to explain in detail, but during the consultation, they explained in detail what autologous rib is and
how the surgery is done
, and on YouTube, the director was talking nonsense, so I liked it because it felt like they were really sharing everything.
It's been about 3 weeks since I had surgery at Finish,
and since the height is something I wasn't greedy about , I'll talk about the tip and shape of my nose
since it's non-implanted
. First, my beak was really smoothly organized. It used to be quite crooked, but I like it now that it's smoothed out, and
I'm so glad that my nose looks thinner overall and that the tip of my nose is rounder and not pointy.
I worried so much that my head hurt, but I like it now that I've looked into it, and
if you're looking into surgery, I want to tell you to do your research carefully and make a decision.
Autologous rib surgery is especially good at capturing the tip of the nose, so I think many people will look into it, but make sure to find a director who is good at autologous rib surgery.
You won't get your nose done lightly, so I hope you do your research carefully and properly like me.
