I had a reoperation for contracted nose and a short nose correction at ALU.
Before, after my first rhinoplasty,
I felt like
my nose was getting smaller and more upturned
. I didn’t feel it for sure, but when I met people around me,
they told me that my nose seemed to be getting shorter, so
when I compared my old photos with the mirror,
I felt that my nose shape had really gotten weird, so
I wondered if it was a symptom of contracture,
and it was true. After going to the hospital and getting a definitive answer,
I looked for a place that does
contracture nose surgery and reconstruction,
and after seeing Director Kim Hyun-joo’s reviews and before-and-after photos,
I thought I would be satisfied, so I made a consultation.
After the CT scan, I received a consultation and it wasn't that bad (I personally thought it
was bad, but since the inflammation had stopped,
I was told that if I used Fitmico, I could use silicone
on the bridge of my nose, so I got Fitmico and
a nose tip autologous columellar surgery.
She pointed out my problems and the extent to which they could be improved, and
she sketched out the possible
shapes and heights of my nose,
which I think made it easier to understand.
As the swelling went down, the areas that were a bit disappointing were
definitely
corrected, and when I met my friends after the autologous columellar splint was removed,
they all said that they weren't sure if it would be long at the time, but now that they look at it, it seems to have definitely settled in, so I'm satisfied now
. I like the straight nose that I had.
