Hello ladies! The before and after pictures are just for reference. It's not a joke.
I was fascinated by Dr. Hong's YouTube channel and received consultation and surgery. Before I had the surgery, I was very worried because there weren't many reviews here, so I thought I'd write a review in case it might be helpful for other people who have the same concerns as me. I am an office worker and wanted a naturally taller nose that would not show signs of surgery. Also, my mouth is slightly protruding and the tip of my nose is a bit low, so I was worried that if I improved the tip of my nose, my face would look more three-dimensional.
Usually, many people worry before getting a consultation. Are you...
- Aren't you a plastic surgeon? > When I looked for it separately, it turned out that he was a surgeon? Well, if I were a dermatologist, I would have been concerned, but since I was a surgeon, I didn't really pay attention
- there weren't too many reviews, right? > Looking at it, I think it's because the hospital doesn't provide anything special even if you leave a review, so it's not like they're offering a discount, and even if it were me, I wouldn't waste my time posting a review
- the surgery method is unique, does that make sense? > I also felt it during the consultation, but I don't feel like I'm the type to tell you everything from beginning to end. It seems like he thinks it's his own know-how.
Anyway, after receiving the consultation and thinking about it for a day, the date of the surgery was announced.
I had surgery at 10 am, but I had to wait for about 20 minutes. Why are there so many people in the morning...
I consulted with the director again before going into surgery. How big is the bridge of the nose? I asked if I wanted it, and when I said "naturally, along the tip of my nose," he immediately swiped a marker pen. And after taking a quick look, he said that my entire face was slightly curved to the right and that even if I got my nose done, it wouldn't correct it 100%, but only 50%. I asked him how much the tip of my nose would go up, and he said I would have to try it to find out. They said I had to raise it to the maximum since I'm a man anyway, but I'm worried that it might go up too much.
It won't change too much even after I get to the operating table, right? I kept asking, and the director told me not to worry because all the men were saying that, so I wouldn't be a different person lol... Anyway, the surgery started like that... I thought I would wake up after it was over, but my heart rate kept dropping, so he woke me up in the middle, half conscious. It seems like it went on for an hour anyway? After about a while, the surgery was over!
It was very difficult because I couldn't breathe through my nose until the next day after the surgery. I think I was able to lead a normal life from the 2nd day. As of the 4th day, there is almost no swelling and there is really only a little bruising. I think the bruising will probably extend to the area where the peeling was done.
Just looking at the results of the surgery, I'm about 80% satisfied. The tip of my nose has definitely gone up, and I'm really happy that my mouth looks less protruding. I think it would be nice if it was slightly higher, but I thought it would look too odd, so I accepted it and am satisfied! And I wanted a completely straight nose, but it seems difficult to get a completely straight nose unless you use silicone. The tip of the nose is still a bit blunt, but they said it will become sharper as the swelling goes down, so I decided to wait and see.
The bottom line is, I don't want to spend money. Not recommended if you want a fancy nose! Recommended if you want a natural nose that makes people feel like something has changed but can't tell!
