I had my first rhinoplasty at a hospital whose name I can’t even remember 6~7 years ago, and then 3 years ago I had a revision rhinoplasty and 1 year ago I had a revision rhinoplasty using my own rib cage, but the results were… really bad. The side line of my nose was really good, but when you look at it from the front, my nostrils were asymmetrical and my nose was crooked, so I ended up having a revision rhinoplasty. I
had my 4th rhinoplasty at D-Day Plastic Surgery, and when I consulted with Director Chu, he said it would be hard to have a perfectly symmetrical nose, so I didn’t have high expectations and just told him to get it to match a certain level. Now it’s not perfect, but it’s almost symmetrical and the crooked feeling is gone. He said he would reuse my own rib cartilage, but he also added donated rib cartilage. My 3rd revision rhinoplasty cost 7 million won, but since I didn’t use my own rib cage but used donated rib cage, the cost was much lower.
It’s been 3 months since I had my rhinoplasty, and I’m satisfied with it so far. But I’m not relieved because I think I’ll have to wait another 1~2 years. I really hope that my nose will stay that way this time without any problems.
