I had a lot of worries and stress because of that severe hooked nose.
When I was receiving counseling, I was asked to correct my hooked nose. I said I didn't like having a pointy nose, but even now (before the surgery), my hooked nose wasn't that bad so I thought a little correction would be enough, so I corrected my hooked nose. They ground my hooked nose and put in about 2.5mm of silicone to make my hooked nose. I had braces and there really isn't a single hook!!
I did a great job with the surgery!!!
For the first week after the surgery, it was more uncomfortable not to be in pain but to not be able to wash well. I also tried to sleep sitting up after studying, but the director told me not to do that and to not sleep with my head too low because sleeping sitting up and not being in good condition could be worse for my recovery, so I slept well, though. I think I slept a lot for the first two days because I didn't have anything to do.
I was worried about the swelling after taking off the splint, but I thought it was just swelling that happens to everyone and tolerated it well. I haven't had any other difficulties since the day I took the splint off.
Even the tip of my nose is slightly round, not pointed. It's rounder and slightly slimmer, making it prettier.
I still feel like the swelling will go down further and the tip of my nose will come down further, but I guess I can think of it as a successful rhinoplasty, right?
