<(위) 수술 전 (아래) 수술 후>I just broke up with my nose, which was very stressful.
I can't show it off to anyone other than my friends and family because they won't know that I had nose surgery if I don't tell them lol!! I believe that no one knows me in this space, so I'll write a review of my breakup with Meburi.
First of all, I didn't have a very pretty nose at first glance. People around me comforted me by saying that I didn't need a nose surgery, but when I started to care about my appearance, I was so stressed out about my nose haha. I like decorating it and taking pictures, but the thing that always bothers me is... my nose. Even though I look like that from the front, I'm not confident about my profile because of my hooked beak, and I don't like people looking at me from the side, so when someone stands next to me, I put my hand on my face. I had to cover it up ㅜㅜㅎ Strangely, my nose doesn't seem to be short when viewed from the front, but when viewed from the side, my nose looks short, perhaps because of the hooked beak... What's worse is that my mother gave birth to only one daughter who didn't have a pretty nose, even though all of them were pretty... haha. Haha, yes haha, so I had surgery right after I finished my college entrance exam...
For the surgery, I put silicone in the bridge of my nose and used a septal donor rib at the tip of my nose. I also shaved my beak, so please just shave it off a lot..! I tried to do this, but the doctor stopped me, saying that if I shave too much, it could look unnatural(??) My nose bridge is low, but the bridge of my nose is high, so I wanted a straight-line nose that was moderately flashy but not too unnatural, to match the height of the tip and bridge of my nose!
From the day of the surgery to the day after, I ate porridge and poured Tylenol into my mouth at the right time, repeating endlessly... The pain was bearable if I took medicine, so it wasn't as difficult as I thought... The most uncomfortable thing was at night, and I had to sit down most of the time because of the swelling. As I was sleeping, I woke up every few tens of minutes... I had a dry mouth and it was difficult for a few days after the surgery... I don't like drinking water, but I felt like I drank all the water I could drink for the rest of my life after rhinoplasty. You know why a humidifier is essential after rhinoplasty. Same..ㅎㅎ
After removing the cotton on the 3rd day, I felt like I had new nostrils after living without a nose. I was so grateful that I could breathe ㅜㅜㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ From that day on, the swelling went down completely and the bruises went down to the bottom of my cheeks and slowly turned yellow. I wrapped it tightly and went for a walk around the neighborhood with my mom~~ The splint was taken off in the first week haha. It was hard to breathe because the foreign matter wasn't coming out of my nose, but they took it all out, so on the 3rd day, I felt like my nostrils were getting new blood. ^b Originally, I was going to take off the splint and say that the joys and sorrows would cross, but I can breathe now..! I can breathe so easily..!! Because I was doing it, I couldn't even see what shape my nose was in. haha. I saw the shape of my nose too late and liked it so much that I didn't even remember the trouble I had gone through until now... haha.
I started wearing makeup from the 2nd week onwards... In fact, even after just a month, it started to look big. The swelling seems to have gone down a lot haha. They say the minor swelling lasts for several months, but to be honest, I was so excited that I made appointments, met friends, and took lots of pictures. I felt so relieved when I broke up with the hooked beak that I had a complex with. Before that, I had the image of looking younger than my age, but after getting the nose surgery, I felt like an influencer for no reason... haha. I heard a lot of people say that my image has become much more sophisticated than before haha.
I attached a picture. I can see the difference before and after.. I look in the mirror every day and just think that I did a good job with my nose surgery! For those of you who are worried, don’t forget that worrying only slows down time.. Thank you for reading this long post!! I hope everyone has a successful surgery!
