I had my first rhinoplasty 6-7 years ago at a hospital whose name I can't remember, then I had a revision rhinoplasty 3 years ago, and a revision rhinoplasty using an autologous rib a year ago, and the results... It was really bad. The line on the side of the nose was really good, but when viewed from the front, the nostrils were asymmetrical and the nose was crooked, so I ended up having to have revision rhinoplasty. This
was my 4th rhinoplasty at D-Day Plastic Surgery, and Dr. Chu said from the time of the consultation that it would be difficult to get the nose to be perfectly symmetrical. I didn't have high expectations and just had to adjust it to a certain degree, but now it's not perfect, but it's almost symmetrical and the feeling of bending has disappeared. They said they would reuse the autologous costal cartilage, but they also added donated costal cartilage. The third revision rhinoplasty cost 7 million won, but that's probably because they used donated ribs instead of autologous ribs. The cost was much lower.
It's been 3 months since I had my nose surgery. It's been about this long, but I'm satisfied so far. Still, I'm not at ease because I think I need to wait another year or two. I hope that this time, there won't be any problems and my nose will be maintained well.
