Reason for reoperation)
The tip of the nose came down and was tilted to one side. It was a crooked nose... and because of it, the nostrils looked uneven. Not only does my nose feel hot when I drink, but my nose doesn't line up with the center of my face, so my face looks crooked.
Consultation)
I had never heard that Madfor was used when I had surgery before, but when I went to the hospital and saw that they couldn't see the bone behind the septum through CT, they said they may have used other additional materials. At that
time, I was really angry and lost... I was worried because I wondered what the problem was. I felt unfair because I thought everything I did was because of the first hospital. My nostrils were uneven and I also had an infection, which is one of the side effects of MadFor.. I found out about it after receiving consultation at the hospital.
)
I came home and looked up the side effects of MadFor, and this blog helped me a lot.

Madpo is not a material used these days because there are many side effects, but like me, I had surgery in the past and suffered from contractures and inflammation. If there are people, check it out.
The first hospital I looked into was the one that immediately pointed out the problems and pointed out directions for improvement. I was so grateful that you sympathized with me and it was helpful, so I looked into other hospitals, but I wasn't interested.

It was a reoperation and it was said that ribs should be used to correct the crooked shape of the nose, but it was easy to decide on autologous ribs. Since the donor rib can be absorbed, it seemed safer to use my own material for fear of the appearance or small chance of inflammation again later. The director originally recommended donor ribs or autologous ribs based on my nose and age, but he said that autologous ribs were better for me. He told me the pros and cons of each material and said it was up to me to choose. I only worried about the autologous scar at first, but the scar is not visible, but the nose is visible, so I gave that a higher priority.
Also, the first hospital did not properly correct the hooked nose and double nose. At that time, I paid a lot of money for surgery, but nothing was done properly, so when I had the surgery again, they also corrected the hooked nose and hooked
nose.
Result)
Before the surgery, my nostrils were uneven, the tip of my nose was saggy, and the bridge of my nose was crooked. It was bumpy.
When you look in the mirror, you can see that you've had surgery, but you don't know if surgery can have side effects like this.
The side effect of Madpore is that the tip of your nose is lowered
without you knowing you had surgery
. If you look at the pre-surgery photos, you can see a big difference haha... I decided to have the surgery again, find a hospital, and have the surgery. I was so worried and my emotions went back and forth several times a day!
And when I had cotton in my nose, I coughed a little and my rib area was sore. I was surprised to see if there was a problem, so when I went to the hospital to check on my progress, I asked them to see if I was okay. They gave me a dressing and said the sutures were well done and there was no inflammatory reaction. Still, they said it was best not to overdo it in the early stages of surgery, so I recuperated at home for over a week.
What I want to say)
When doing your first surgery, it is important to do proper research and find out the surgical materials and method!!!! If the first hospital had told me that Madpore was used because the original material was not successful, I would have tried to find out what the problem was before performing the surgery again, but all I found out was a simple contracture... When I heard that there was a possibility of mad pores and looked up the side effects, I was really despaired when I saw an article saying that if the mad pores adhere, it is difficult to completely remove them.
When the hospital was selling the hospital and said that reoperation after removing the madpore was a difficult case, and the prices were soaring, I wondered if I had to spend thousands to get a proper nose, so I just wanted to rip the nose off with my hands..^^ The first hospital I went to was very dull. As you said, I hated the times when I was visiting other hospitals and the doctors would pull their chins and sigh or just stare at my nose for a long time without saying a word. I didn't want to feel miserable after hearing such a story, and after visiting other hospitals, I think the fact that the director and director of the first hospital I went to didn't show much of a reaction showed that they were considerate of people undergoing reoperation.
Asking to walk around a lot seems to mean experiencing for myself how the hospital approaches me and how focused and considerate the director and manager are toward me.
I hope everyone doesn’t get lost during their first surgery and that it goes well without any side effects!
