It was really painful because I only breathed through my mouth and my mouth was so dry. When I swallowed saliva or touched my mouth mucosa with my tongue, it felt weird. I was scared that I'd cough, and I had to take medicine, so I ate, but because of the abdominal band, I had gas in my stomach and it was also really painful when I burped. When will this get better? I'm fine as long as I don't move, but if I put even a little bit of force on my stomach, my ribs hurt no joke. Please tell me how long the pain from my rib cage surgery lasts.
