I got rhinoplasty because my low nose was so concerned about the side hump when viewed from the front.
Director Kim Da-seom of Obli Plastic Surgery said that I didn’t need osteotomy and that my nose bridge was slightly tilted to one side overall, so she said that it would be good to supplement it with custom silicone. So I got the surgery without osteotomy, using custom silicone (nose bridge) + ear cartilage, and septal cartilage (nose tip).
It’s been a month now, and I think it was really good that I didn’t do osteotomy!! Even though only the height changed without osteotomy, the before and after pictures from the front are so clear.
The side hump that I was concerned about is now invisible, which is great. I don’t think the swelling has completely gone down yet, but I think it doesn’t need to go down, and I like it now, so I’m not trying to reduce the swelling or anything.
