My nose looked long, I didn't like the shape of my nose, my nostrils were weird... My nose tip was getting redder and redder... It was a total mess, so I got it again. ^^
Since I've had it five times, I tried to be more picky. The hospital where I first had my silicone done 20 years ago is gone. The same goes for the hospital where I got my surgery done 19 years ago. I got my silicone replaced 16 years ago, but the director there retired the year after I got it done;; The hospital where I got it done for the fourth time in 2018 is still doing well. I missed the AS period, so I didn't get anything. I've
been to dozens of places for consultations, but if I had to give it a try, don't just believe patient reviews, see the hospital director and have a consultation before making a decision, and don't get swayed by the director's words. I hope everyone will be objective when looking into rhinoplasty. I really looked into it with the mindset that it was my last surgery.
For reference, I had to use all of the previous surgery, including ear cartilage, silicone, septum, and autologous ribs, and I was worried about whether I should get a dermal graft because I had to do the fourth revision surgery.
This surgery was done with 2-no-fit silicone, and autologous ribs were recycled and additional ear cartilage was harvested.
All foreign substances in the nasal column were removed, and to prevent further revision surgery, I purchased and used anti-inflammatory splints and anti-adhesion agents. All
the pictures were taken right after the stitches were removed. With a regular camera. The swelling wasn't that big, and there was no pain even though it was my fifth surgery.
Anyway, I hope you'll look at the pictures taken a week later. My forehead is swollen and there are still bruises. It's more natural now.
I think this is the first time I've had this much surgery
without any swelling or pain.
When I had nose surgery before, my eyes were swollen...
The director of the hospital where I had surgery is kind, but he's firm when it comes to surgery.
The director has experience with revision surgery, but he was the most accurate in pinpointing the problems with my nose during the consultation, so I was able to trust him and have the surgery.
He is the type who says no when he can't, and makes sure to say yes when he can. He
is honest and definite, so he was perfect for my personality that is suspicious and twisted because I've had multiple repeat surgeries.
Anyway, everyone's criteria for choosing a hospital are different, and
there's no guarantee that you will do well just because others did well, so I hope you all look at reviews and set your own criteria before looking for a hospital. It
hasn't even been a month yet, so I can't say anything rash, but I am satisfied with the pain, swelling, shape, and aftercare at the hospital.
It's not too much, nor too little, it's just right.
To be honest, I wish it had been a little more extravagant, but honestly, that's just my greed...
What I've felt after having multiple surgeries is that anything too much is not good.
I hope this is my last nose job.
