<코재 전><코재 후>First surgery: I was looking into surgery for a long time, and I read and searched through reviews posted by other people. Most people say that if you overdo it in your first surgery and use nose materials, it will be difficult to have a second surgery, and that too much is as bad as too little, so I was very cautious about getting the first surgery. In the end, my crooked nose bridge didn't improve at all, and when I looked at it from the side, the tip of my nose looked lower. When I told people around me that I paid for the surgery, no one believed me... haha I was really shocked. From then on, instead of listening to others, I started looking for a hospital that would help me find the nose I wanted and a nose design that would fit my face.
Nose material: The silicone that was already in there was removed and my own dermis was used. Since my nose bridge was very crooked, most people said that osteotomy was necessary, so this hospital also did it. Yes, the nose tip material was made of septum, ear cartilage, and autologous ribs. I was worried about the scar, but when I saw people who had autologous ribs at the hospital, it wasn't as big as I thought and it seemed to heal quickly, so I decided.
Choosing a hospital for a second surgery: As I said before, design was very important to me. Even if I go to a hospital that is good at surgery, I thought it would be a total failure if it didn't suit me.. I looked at how detailed they were during the consultation and how much my opinions were reflected. The director here didn't just design it right away, but rather looked at my facial features, the proportions, the side, and the front, and carefully designed it, which was good. My nose bridge is too high now, so there's no need to use silicone again (in fact, he told me to remove it), and he said that I need to use my own dermis to make the bridge of my nose, and that I need to use costal cartilage for the tip of my nose to act as a strong support. He explained it in detail so well that even a non-expert like me would find it easy to explain. I ended up getting it done here because the design, explanation, and hospital reviews all worked well.
Recovery: If I had to compare the recovery speed between my first surgery and my revision surgery, I think my revision surgery was faster. Huh? Isn't the revision surgery taking longer if I do it again? If you think that way, it's Osan, Gyeonggi-do. On the contrary, the director finished the surgery quickly during my revision surgery, and perhaps because his skills were good, the swelling didn't last long. From then on, I completely trusted the doctor. ㅋㅋ Thanks to the osteotomy, I could immediately see that the crooked nose bridge was gone, and as the swelling went down, it felt good because it looked better.
Thoughts: I wish it had been this successful from the beginning.. I'll give in a hundred times and think I'm glad that the surgery was successful and that it matches my face now. The bridge of my nose is high enough to fit my face, and the tip of my nose has also become pretty, so I think that makes me even more satisfied? I just hope that my nose can stay the same forever.. I'm so happy that it was successfulㅎ
