I had a consultation for rhinoplasty about 10 months ago.
It was a fairly famous plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam.
They have pictures of celebrities on their homepage and
the hospital is quite large.
They recently expanded the hospital into two floors.
Anyway, when I had my consultation for rhinoplasty last year
, I was a bit reluctant to get implants and I wanted to get them done with dermis . They said
that Gore-Tex would be similar to human flesh and wouldn’t show, so they wanted
to raise the bridge of my nose only 2/3 with Gore-Tex and
use ear cartilage for the front part of my nose and the pillar. When
I woke up from general anesthesia, the surgery was over.
I spent the winter after the surgery, but
my nose was extremely red all winter and it was annoying.
So I went to the hospital around February of this year, and they
said it was because my skin was sensitive and the tip of my nose was showing, so
it was okay. ㅡ ㅡ And
when I said that my nose felt like it was popping
when I smiled or moved,
they said that it was because the pillar was tied with cartilage.
Also, since it was an expert's opinion, I should believe it and turned around.
Still, I was grateful.. But
as time went on, I became more and more concerned about the tip of my nose, and the shape seemed to be deformed strangely, so I had another surgery using my own dermal filler.
When I had the second surgery, the doctor said
that he needed to know what materials were used and how the surgery was done at the last hospital, so he said
that the prosthesis would be Gore-Tex, and
the tip and pillar would be made of ear cartilage.
I went in for the surgery... (They didn't use general anesthesia here, they did local anesthesia..)
But it wasn't Gore-Tex, it was silicone..
What was more shocking was that the cartilage pillar that they said they would use
was some kind of plastic.. -_-;;
I took it out during the surgery and looked at it. They said
that only 2/3 would be used to raise the bridge of the nose, but it was almost L-shaped.
I was so shocked..
But it was my first surgery.. and
I thought they would be considerate..
I was worried that they would feel bad if I kept asking them if it was weird, but
this is what betrayal is.. ㅡ ㅡ Isn't
it like putting me under complete anesthesia and then hitting me on the back of the head ?
I brought all this silicone and weird plastic stuff, but do you think
I can legally soak it in water?
I can't forgive these people.
If there's no clear apology by tomorrow,
I plan on releasing the photos and the name of the hospital.
Oh, what should I do? ㅡ_ㅡ Should I release it to the broadcasting station too?
