I had nose surgery three years ago and had the implants removed today. I had no inflammation or contractures. There was an implant called Medpore in my nose. While looking for information before the stitches began to loosen after surgery, I found out that the implant called an artificial nasal septum was Medpore. If it becomes inflamed, the nose becomes severely contracted and adsorbed to the cartilage of the tissue, making it difficult to remove, and if implanted close to the skin, the chance of it breaking through is very high as it is a very hard implant. When I went to the hospital, I didn't know that the artificial nasal septum was Medpore. I asked them to remove it early, and the director said that it is a restorative material on which there are different opinions among doctors, and that silicone and Medpore are the same. Since nothing special had happened, they had been running the hospital so far, and they said that as long as there was no inflammation, there was no problem and there was no need to remove it in advance. And since it goes deep into the skin, you don’t have to worry about it at all. I believed that and lived there for about three years when it suddenly became inflamed and if I removed it, it would build up and costal cartilage would do the trick, but I didn't want to use costal cartilage. I didn't know when the inflammation would last, so I took it out when I had time. After the surgery, the appearance was pretty, but my septum on one side was bent, making it difficult to breathe for 3 years, and the smell was not good. It's because I was ignorant and put up the reservation deposit hastily, but I hope you trust me and skip it if the hospital recommends Medpore. Many doctors There is a reason why they don't use it. The hospitals I went to for removal consultations said that Medpore is an implant that must be removed at all costs. Good luck with your rhinoplasty, everyone. ^^
