* The reason I wrote this article is to share that surgery must be decided very carefully, side effects can happen to anyone, and over time, it becomes an irreversible condition, so it must be treated quickly.

[Facts]
- I received surgery for rhinitis + autologous costal cartilage (columella) + silicone (nose bridge) from the representative plastic surgery center in Gangnam Station (who is an acquaintance).
-The nose turns black immediately after surgery (a symptom of necrosis)
-When the splint and tape are removed, the flesh on the bridge of the nose falls off, creating a scar on the bridge of the nose. Stem cell treatment was recommended, thigh fat was extracted and stem cell treatment was performed (1 time). Thighs become lumpy.
-A hole in the nose. They said it was 'local inflammation' and did not remove the silicone or autologous ribs and stopped cleaning and antibiotic treatment for a month.
-Afterwards, I visited the hospital more than 5 times. They said it was okay and treated with antibiotics, but the silicone was removed three and a half months after the surgery. It is said that there is no need to remove autologous ribs.
-It got worse after that. When I went to another hospital, they said the autologous ribs needed to be removed immediately (I heard that the autologous ribs had crumbled due to being left unattended for a long time).
-The director said that repeat surgery would be necessary after 6 months. I held on to the belief that it would be okay if I had a second surgery.
-Six months later, I received consultations at a university hospital and a hospital specializing in nasal reconstruction. 'It's not just inflammation, it's necrosis. The cause appears to be a peeling problem. Damage serious. Forehead flap surgery required. I heard, ‘It’s difficult to recover to normal.’ Even at university hospitals, surgery was refused.
-This hospital uses a contract that states, “Surgery costs will be supported in return for writing a review, and damages will be compensated if you write a bad review.” You may be thinking what the problem is, but under this contract, even if you have a problem after surgery, you can't write a bad review, so it won't be known, and the problem is that the good reviews are not honest reviews, but paid reviews.
-It's a face-to-face job, but I can't work at the company I used to work for (the director said, "You just have to wear a mask.").
[What I learned about necrosis]
-Necrosis is the death of tissues and cells, causing the skin to turn black or bluish.
-The cause of necrosis after nose surgery is mainly surgical factors due to blood circulation disorders
. -There is a ‘golden time (48 to 72 hours)’ in the treatment of nasal necrosis. If appropriate treatment (hyperbaric oxygen treatment, implant removal, etc.) is not administered at the necessary time, irreversible scarring and contractures may occur.
-For reconstruction, a skin graft or forehead flap is required, and even if the reconstruction is restored to some extent, the appearance is not good cosmetically. Forehead flap surgery leaves scars on the forehead, and columellar skin defects in particular are difficult to recover from as the worst side effect.
-Unlike inflammation, the main cause of necrosis is surgical, so it is easy for doctor negligence to be acknowledged. From the hospital's point of view, if necrosis occurs and it is diagnosed promptly out of conscience, civil and criminal problems may arise due to admission of negligence, and above all, problems that may greatly affect sales may arise immediately. However, if you do not diagnose necrosis on purpose, the fault is unclear, so you can continue doing the same business and waste time, only to be compensated even if the fault is recognized later. If you have purchased insurance, you can process the compensation through insurance. From the patient's point of view, it may be difficult to recover to normal even if the golden time is missed and difficult reconstruction is done, and even if a lawsuit is filed with a lawyer's fee, it takes several years and it is not easy to receive 3,000. You should not blindly trust that the hospital will diagnose and treat your condition.
